27 April - 1 May, 2014 Southern Federal University, in participation of “Znanie” Educational Center, is to host the Fourth International Scientific Conference on Modern Methods, Problems and Applications of Operator Theory and Harmonic Analysis IV. The conference will take place in Rostov-on-Don.

The theme of the conference is related to the different areas of mathematics, especially harmonic analysis, functional analysis, operator theory, function theory, differential equations and fractional analysis, developed intensively last decade. The relevance of this topic is related to the study of complex multiparameter objects that require, in particular, to attract operators with variable parameters and functional spaces with fractional and even variable exponents.

The conference is expected the participation of several leading Russian and foreign scientists, experts in these and related areas of science, work of the sections (can be specified):

1. Functional analysis and operator theory,
2. The theory of the functions,
3. Differential equations and mathematical physics,
4. Fundamental problems for information and communication technology,
5. Mathematics in the natural science, intelectual systems and computer science.

It is also assumed videoconference with reports of some foreign scientists and discussion lecture on videoconferencing system, discussions on topical problems of mathematics related to the themes of the conference.
